Fix ZPL Labels That Print Cut Off or Too Small

ZPL describes positions in printer dots, not millimetres. If the converter uses the wrong dot size or label size, your label comes out cropped or shrunk. Both are easy to fix in the ZPL to PDF converter.

Label Cut Off at the Edge

The label size is too small for the content. Pick the real size of your label roll, such as 4 × 6 inches or 100 × 150 mm, or enter a custom size.

Label Too Small or Too Large

The print density is wrong. ZPL written for 203 dpi printers (8 dots per mm) looks tiny at 300 dpi and huge at 152 dpi. Most shipping labels use 203 dpi.

How Auto-Detection Works

From the File :
If the ZPL contains label width and length commands, those are used.
From the Content :
Otherwise the tool looks at how far the content reaches and picks the closest standard size.
Manual Override :
You can always choose the size and density yourself.
